Barcelona Digital has joined in the Advisory Council of Localret, a local consortium made up of more than 800 entities of Catalonia with the common objective of to act, coordinated and unified, to the development of networks and telecommunications services, and in the application of ICT to improve local government action.

With your participation, the technology centre will advise in Localret in the telecommunications sector and information society applied to the municipalities. Barcelona Digital will contribute with their experience to promote local telecommunications infrastructure and to extend the knowledge and the benefits of the use of new technologies of information between citizens.

The Localret Advisory Council is formed by 50 recognized experts in various disciplines, professional or academic. Barcelona Digital will be represented by their General Manager, Carles Fradera. Among other functions, this advisory organ can deliver reports and propose measures, and the realization of workshops or activities of interest to the sector.
