The Resources manager of Barcelona Digital Technology Centre, Anna Puigdollers, has participated, with 50 professionals of the technology and cities management sector, on a business mission in China, aimed to find new investors and economic relationships and industrial and technological cooperation with companies in the country.

The commercial and technology mission "Connect-Shangai", organized by ACC1Ó agency and led by the Conseller d’Innovació, Universitats i Empresa de la Generalitat de Catalunya, Josep Huguet, took place from 27 to 30 may as part of the Catalan week held at the Universal Exposition Shanghai 2010. In particular, the delegation was formed by companies of technological application in cities (energy, waste, construction, health, etc.).

 

Currently, China offers extensive opportunities for business and is a priority and strategic objective for the ICT sector, because configure a relevant market thanks to the investment in the country. The mission will increase the participation of the Catalan companies in the international R&D.
